The third series of Dating Naked UK could reportedly be axed due to a shortage of participants.
The format, hosted by Rylan Clark, follows a group of singletons as they move into a luxury villa and attempt to find love – all while completely nude.
According to The Sun, filming on series three has now been postponed until September and producers have been considering casting OnlyFans stars to help flesh out the lineup.
A source said: “Executives are in a flap because the show can’t go ahead if they don’t have enough participants, and even if they scrape through this season, it doesn’t bode well for future commissions.
“Although they managed to get enough people for the first two series, it’s proving very difficult for the third as it is quite an exposing programme. It’s not just a question of baring their souls, it’s about baring everything else.
“Perhaps it might be because we Brits are a little more modest than our counterparts.
“There is a US and a German version of the show and they never seem to have these problems. To be fair, the American Dating Naked pixelates the private parts of the contestants, but there’s no such luck on the UK version.”
The most recent series was released on Paramount+ last Summer.
