Mandy on Emmerdale on August 13, 2025 / ITV
Emmerdale icon Lisa Riley will reportedly be heading to the jungle for this year’s edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The 49-year-old, who has played Mandy Dingle since 1995, has previously expressed her desire to take part in the show before she turns 50 in 2026.
According to The Sun, she now looks set to be granted her wish as she is in “advanced talks” about being in the lineup for the new series.
A source told the newspaper: “Lisa is the perfect celebrity for the show because not only is she from a soap watched by millions, she’s one of its biggest characters, and it’s an ITV show to boot.
“She also has a naughty, mischievous sense of humour which is guaranteed to get a big response from her other celebrity campmates during their time in the jungle.
“Lisa is by no means the first star from Emmerdale to have gone on I’m A Celebrity and those that do always tend to get a great response from viewers at home.”
Previous stars from the Dales to have taken part in the show include Danny Miller (winner, 2021), Adam Thomas (third place, 2016) and Lucy Pargeter (third place, 2013).
The new series launches on ITV in November.
