Charlie Frederick and AJ Bunker in Love Island All Stars S03E08 / ITV
Charlie Frederick and AJ Bunker have become the first two contestants to be dumped from this year’s Love Island All Stars.
Maya Jama revealed that the public had been voting for their favourites before naming Charlie, Sean Stone and Konnor Edwuzi as the bottom three boys.
AJ, Jess Harding and Whitney Adebayo were the three girls with the fewest votes and were therefore also at risk of being dumped.
Maya told Millie Court that she received the most votes of the girls and would consequently have to choose which boy to dump – and in a shock twist, she picked the other half of her coupling Charlie.
“Some things that I think were red flags that I haven’t felt sure [about],” she told him afterwards, referring to his flirting with Jess. “I’ve told you that I don’t like your behaviour. I don’t like the secrecy. You know, every day was a new thing…. and I just keep being in this drama, I can’t be arsed for it.”
Meanwhile, Scott van-der-Sluis learned that he was the public’s favourite boy and chose to dump AJ, explaining: “There’s two ways I can look at it in terms of who’s going to get to know who. There’s one girl who currently isn’t in any situation and there’s two that are.
“Or do I look at it in terms of there are two people I’ve known for a long time and they’re making this villa a good place, a good vibe? The girl I’m going to send home is AJ.”

Love Island All Stars continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
