ITV has confirmed the launch date for this year’s civilian edition of Big Brother.
The show will return in less than a fortnight on Sunday, September 28 with a live launch on ITV2 and ITVX – expected to air at 9pm.
This year BB will run for seven weeks as opposed to the usual six, with new episodes airing nightly on ITV2 from Sunday to Friday.
Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best will return with spinoff Big Brother: Late and Live after each edition of the main show from Sunday to Friday.
ITVX will stream live action from the house for around three hours until 2am from Sunday to Friday, with a bumper 9pm-2am stream available on Saturday nights.
The housemate lineup is expected to be kept under wraps until the live launch show on September 28.
