This year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will reportedly launch on a Monday night instead of the usual Sunday night slot due to an England football game.
Based on precedent, the new series was in line to begin on ITV on the evening of Sunday, November 15 for a three-week run, concluding in early December.
That night, however, the Three Lions are playing their final league game of the 2026-27 Nations League, away against Spain at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.
The match has a 7.45pm GMT kickoff and will be shown by ITV, prompting the broadcaster to delay the I’m A Celebrity premiere to the following night.
A source told The Sun: “I’m A Celeb has always benefited from the Sunday night primetime slot, but this year it’s all change.
“Now ITV has the rights to the UEFA Nations League bosses have had to go back to the drawing board. The show will now start on Monday, November 16 at 9pm.”
Celebs linked with this year’s series include Gavin & Stacey‘s Joanna Page, YouTube star Sharky, sports presenter Ade Adepitan and ice skating legend Christopher Dean.
