ITV is thought to have resumed filming for the new series of Love Island All Stars but has yet to confirm a revised airdate.
The show had been due to premiere on ITV2 on Monday evening but the broadcaster was forced to delay the plans after production was suspended due to wildfires near to the villa in South Africa.
Filming is said to have finally recommenced today but the premiere date is still unknown, with Wednesday, Thursday – or even Sunday – all possibilities.
ITV said on social media: “Just a reminder that the Love Island launch show has been delayed due to wildfires near the Villa in South Africa.
“Everyone is safe though and we’re working on bringing you an iconic series, so keep an eye on our socials and we’ll let you know the new launch date as soon as we can.”
A repeat of The 1% Club has taken Love Island‘s place in the ITV2 schedules tonight.
