Jaime Winstone for Strictly Come Dancing 2026 / BBC
Actress Jaime Winstone has been named as the eighth celebrity in the lineup for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The EastEnders star, who played a young Peggy Mitchell in multiple episodes, joins a group that also includes Lacey Turner, Delta Goodrem, Dani Dyer, Chris Appleton, Cach Mercer, Will Best and Dame Sarah Storey.
“I am so excited to announce that I will be joining the Strictly Come Dancing cast this year,” said Winstone, who is the daughter of hardman movie legend Ray Winstone.
“I am no stranger to a dance floor, but the ballroom is a whole new world for me. I love a challenge though, so can’t wait to enter my showgirl era and get super sparkly!! Let’s get physical – see you on the dance floor!”
The remaining celebrities will be announced in the coming weeks ahead of the launch of the new series in September on BBC One and iPlayer.
