Comedian Jon Richardson is reportedly in the lineup for the next series of The Great Celebrity Bake Off.
The new series of the show, which is staged in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, is currently being filmed – even though it is not due to air on Channel 4 until spring 2026.
According to The Sun, Richardson – recently divorced from fellow comedian Lucy Beaumont – will enter the famous tent for one of the episodes.
A source told the newspaper: “Bosses are over the moon that they signed up Jon. He is hilarious, so will bring the laughs to the tent, and he’s hugely popular with viewers.
“It’s been a tough year for Jon following his split from Lucy, so this has given him some light relief and it’s all for charity, so that’s an added bonus.”
Other stars taking part in the new series include US singer JoJo Siwa, comedian Babatunde Aleshe, reality star Molly-Mae Hague, singer Rag’n’Bone Man and radio presenter Edith Bowman.
