Katherine Ryan has been named as the host for the reunion episode of the upcoming new series The Real Housewives of London.
The latest spinoff in The Real Housewives franchise was announced last year by US streamer Hayu and will be an independent production from the long-running ITV spinoff The Real Housewives of Cheshire.
Last month the cast for the capital-set edition was confirmed as Juliet Angus, Amanda Cronin, Karen Loderick-Peace, Juliet Mayhew, Panthea Parker and Nessie Welschinger and now comedian Ryan has been named as compere for the always-anticipated reunion episode at the end of the series.
“Pinch me and tell me this is real!” she said. “As a mega-fan of The Real Housewives franchise – and of Hayu – I can’t wait to get Juliet, Amanda, Karen, Juliet, Panthea and Nessie into the hot seats at the end of the season.
“Hosting The Real Housewives of London reunion show is a dream opportunity for me – and I’m honoured to be trusted to represent the fans and to bring a female perspective to analysing all the emotions, arguments, twists and revelations!”
Filming of the series is thought to have begun in March ahead of a premiere later this year.
