Emma Munro for Love Island 2025 / ITV
Another two stars were dumped from the Love Island villa last night as Emma Munro and partner Boris Vidovic received their matching orders following a public vote for the favourite couples.
Shortly after leaving, Emma sat down with the press to reflect on her time on the show…
How do you feel about receiving the fewest votes for favourite girl by the public?
“I fully anticipated being the least favourite so I think I was prepared. I understand that I’m really outspoken and opinionated and I perhaps stood up to some of the favourites which probably didn’t go down too well with the public. No hard feelings, I understand.”
What was it like living with your ex?
“It was uncomfortable to begin with, but I would say that both of us handled it really well. Maybe being a little bit older and more mature meant I dealt with it better than most could.”
At one point it looked like you might have tried to rekindle things. Why didn’t you pursue that?
“It’s very easy when you’ve been with someone a long time to fall back into that spot where you’re comfortable. When we were flirty it felt like everything was good and perfect, but then I very quickly snapped out of it when I saw his behaviour. I had to keep reminding myself that those were the same behaviours why I left in the first place and why I don’t want to go back there.”
What would you say in response to those who said you went in with a game plan to get back with Harry and win the show together?
“I think they’ve just been proved wrong because he’s still in there and I’ve now left the Villa so that definitely wasn’t the game plan. We hadn’t spoken, I can confirm that is just a rumour.”
Who are you rooting for to win?
“This is hard, but I have a gut feeling that Angel and Ty are going to go the whole way. I think they’re both really genuine people so my money would be on them. I see some cracks in all of the other couples, so I can’t fully back them. I think the girls have really carried the series.”
Love Island continues daily at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
