Tommy Bradley for Love Island 2025 / ITV
Love Island OG Tommy Bradley was dumped from the island with bombshell partner Lucy Quinn last night as the latest savage twist saw Shakira Khan and Ty Isherwood seal their fate.
Shortly after leaving, Tommy sat down with the press to talk about his time on the show…
How do you feel about leaving the Villa?
“I remember I was so nervous for the first two or three days. I’m really proud of putting myself out of my comfort zone, and grateful for the opportunity.”
Shakira and Ty decided to dump you from the Island after the public placed you in the bottom four for most compatible couple. How do you feel about their decision?
“Shakira and Conor have a thing going on so she obviously wanted to keep him. Shakira’s also close with Toni and knows she still really likes Harrison. That’s all the decision came down to. So to leave in that way, getting voted out by another Islander who I’m not that close with, was frustrating. At the end of the day it’s all part and parcel of the game. Lucy was only there for nine days, so I feel like she deserved to experience it more. I’d like to have had more of a journey with her in the Villa.”
Tell us about the moment when you walked back into the Villa after choosing to recouple with Lucy in Casa Amor. What was it like to see Emily standing alone?
“When I saw Emily standing by the Firepit alone with her face sunken, it wasn’t a nice feeling. It’s not in my character to upset people or make them feel down, and I feel like I did do that at that moment in time. I was really in the hot seat.”
You and the boys seemed to get on really well. Tell us about them. Who will you miss most and why?
“We were like one big family. The banter with the boys was great. Harry and I were always close. I always went to him whenever I felt down. Ben deserves a mention too, he was my best mate since day one as well. The minute Giorgio walked through the door, we clicked straight away and had such a close bond. I was really upset when he left because I really looked up to him and always asked him questions. Watching him leave was like watching my older brother go.”
How will things proceed with Lucy outside of the Villa? Do you have any dates planned?
“We’re going to go to a few nice restaurants. We both love steakhouses so we’ll have some nice steaks, I’ll have a bottle of red wine, she’ll have a bottle of rose. I’ve never been to Liverpool before so she’ll give me the tour. I’m excited for the next chapter. Our Love Island journey ended but it’s the start of something new so I’m excited to see where it goes.”
Will you catch up with Emily?
“I think she’s got a heart of gold and a great person in general. She ticked every single box I looked for in a girl and she’s my type but I just didn’t feel like that romantic spark was there. I am disappointed in myself about that because I don’t know why I felt like that. I’d love to catch up with her. She was a huge part of my Love Island journey.”
Out of the couples left, who are you rooting for and why?
“It’s so hard to pick but it has to be Dejon and Meg or Harry and Helena. Harry and Helena always gravitate towards each other. Since Casa, I’ve seen a different side to Harry and he’s focusing all sights on Helena. He’s not being his mischievous self and trying to get himself into trouble. It will be interesting to see how the next few weeks play out.”
Love Island continues nightly at 9pm on ITV2.
