Love Island All Stars concludes tonight as the 2025 champions are crowned, but falling just short at the final hurdle were Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint, who were dumped on the penultimate day.
Shortly after leaving, Ronnie sat down for a chat about his time on the show…
How do you feel about the Islanders’ decision to dump you?
“Montel, I thought his reasoning that we argue was crazy. That one shocked me a bit. I expected all of Liv’s comments. Everyone’s got an opinion, they can have it. At the end of the day we’ve found what we’ve found, the rest can carry on doing what they’re doing. I know where I’m at. In a year’s time I’m going to make everyone laugh when we’ll still be good and still be strong. My priority is Harriett. As long as she’s alright, I’m alright.
“I don’t think there’s a stronger couple than us, I really don’t. I’m happy with the whole journey, coming in from day one. I feel like I’ve grown as a person, become a better person, that’s what I wanted to do. Long may it continue with Harriett.”
What would you want to say to people who think you faked your split to get back together on the show?
“The fake comments are crazy – did you see how much I was grafting? It’s mad. Even until last week I was still doing it, every day. We fully split up. Everyone’s going to have an opinion but the real opinion is me and H. That’s all I care about.”
You’ve said the L-word – what is it you love about Harriett?
“She makes me feel so calm and at peace and that’s such a big thing. I’ve never felt that. With H by my side I feel like I can do anything I want in life. She’s a lovely girl, she’s kind-hearted, beautiful and yeah, I do love her.”
Is there anything you regret or wish you’d done differently?
“I don’t regret anything, not one thing. People will comment on everything you do. I’d rather do it my way and at the end of the day everything happens for a reason. My journey, I really enjoyed it, I really did.”
Of the five couples in the final, who would you like to win?
“I walked in with Gabby and we got on really well. Casey I ended up getting on really well with. I think those two have been sweet, so I’d love to see them win. Omar, my boy from last season, I’m buzzing for him and Catherine. Me and Catherine get on really as well, I’m really happy for them two. Ekin-Su and Curtis, and Elma and Sammy I think they’ll be good, I think they’re solid. Luca and Grace I’m really close with Grace. Luca, look, there’s been a lot of opinions, but I really like the boy. He’s close with H. I can’t just sit on my feelings. Some people might like that, some won’t. I don’t hold any grudges and I think he’s a really nice boy – him and Grace I hope they get on. I couldn’t say a bad word. He’s close to H, so it sounds like double dates are on the cards.”
Love Island All Stars: The Live Finale airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
