Why did you want to return to Love Island?
“It was the best time of my life. I was so out of my comfort zone but learnt so much about myself and how I handle situations. I met some friends for life. I want a second chance at meeting someone romantically.”
What will you do differently this time?
“I’m going to get to know more people. In the early days I was all eyes for one girl and I may have shut a lot of doors too early on. I’m going to be more open-minded and not fall for someone so quickly.”
What do you think makes Love Island a good way to meet someone?
“Living under the same roof you spend a lot of time together. Everything is accelerated naturally. Two days is like three weeks. You learn very quickly about a person. You feel a connection very quickly and you can sort of judge whether it’s going to go somewhere. It’s such a surreal environment to be in there. It’s hard to explain to someone that’s not been in there. It’s a completely different experience to dating on the outside.”
What has been going on in your dating life since we last saw you?
“I’ve not really been dating to be honest, not really gone out too much. I’ve got quite a small circle of friends, I go out with them, so I’ve not been out meeting girls. Hopefully I’ll meet someone on All Stars.”
