Maya Jama for Love Island All Stars 2026 / ITV
Filming on the new series of Love Island All Stars will reportedly resume on Wednesday after wildfires delayed the show’s start.
The latest edition of the spinoff had been due to premiere on ITV2 tonight but was postponed indefinitely over the weekend when host Maya Jama, the cast and production crew were evacuated for their safety.
A wildfire was said to be raging close to the Love Island villa in Franschhoek, South Africa and the conditions were deemed not safe enough for filming to continue.
A source told The Mirror: “Bosses are hoping to resume filming on Wednesday 14th January but it’s still very much an ongoing situation which they’re continuing to monitor closely. The team have worked hard to make sure the site is safe for the crew and islanders.”
Should production start up again on Wednesday, the series could finally premiere on Thursday – although ITV has yet to comment on scheduling plans.
