Broadcaster and journalist Mariella Frostrup is said to be in discussions about taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The top-rated reality show returns to ITV in less than three weeks’ time and producers are currently putting the final touches to the lineup for the 2026 series.
According to The Sun, Frostrup, 63, is now being courted as a late addition to the show and will fly out to Australia within days.
A source said: “This is a really prestige signing for I’m A Celebrity and it’s fair to say she isn’t the sort of character you necessarily expect to see heading into camp.
“With a career in broadcasting and journalism she’s likely to have a wealth of anecdotes to share with her campmates.”
Other celebs rumoured to be in the lineup include Gavin & Stacey‘s Joanna Page, Big Brother host AJ Odudu, England legend Wayne Rooney, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson and Love Island star Chloe Burrows.
