Edvin Ryding / Martin Kiessling
Five more cast members have been announced for Heated Rivalry season two.
As filming on the new season got underway earlier this month, it was revealed that Justice Smith and Charlie Gillespie had been cast in the key roles of Harris Drover and Troy Barrett, joining season one breakout stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.
The new batch of additions will play characters from across Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels, on which the series is based.
Young Royals‘ Edvin Ryding will star as Luca Haas, a rookie player on the Ottawa Centaurs, while Robert Naylor will portray Wyatt Hayes, the team’s goaltender.
Sabrina Jalees will play agent Farah Jalali, with Schitt’s Creek‘s Emily Hampshire and Canada’s Drag Race winner Priyanka will star as Vanessa and Tarek from third novel Tough Guy.
Season two, which is rumoured to run to 12 episodes, will premiere on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK and Ireland in Spring 2027.
