Alan Carr for The Celebrity Traitors S01E05 / BBC
Alan Carr’s victory in The Celebrity Traitors is among the nominees for the ‘Memorable Moment’ gong at this year’s BAFTA TV Awards.
The category – the only one where the winner is picked by the public – also includes nominations for the scene in Adolescence where Jamie (Owen Cooper) snaps at the psychologist, as well as the heartbreaking scene from the Big Boys finale where Danny (Jon Pointing) remarks to Jack Rooke: “I didn’t make it, did I?”
The other three nominations are for Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade’s speed date in Last One Laughing, Byron introducing herself as Paris in What It Feels Like For A Girl and the police being warned of an ambush plot to silence a witness in Blue Lights.
“It’s been a huge pleasure to chair this year’s jury and share in the thoughtful, passionate conversations about the standout television moments of 2025,” said Hilary Rosen, chair of BAFTA’s Television Committee.
“From powerful drama to unmissable entertainment and brilliantly sharp comedy, the nominees reflect the creative breadth and cultural impact of best-in-class television. I look forward to seeing which memorable moments resonate with the public, and the conversations they’ll spark well beyond the final vote.”
Voting closes on April 22, while the ceremony itself takes place on Sunday, May 10.
