Former Great British Bake Off stars Dame Prue Leith and Sandi Toksvig have reportedly teamed up to film a new travelogue show for Channel 4.
Leith, 85, announced last month that she had quit as a judge of the beloved baking show after nine years, while Toksvig co-hosted from 2017 to 2020.
According to The Sun, the pair flew to Leith’s native South Africa last year to visit some of her “old haunts”.
“The two women cemented their friendship during the years on Bake Off,” a source told the newspaper.
“Although Sandi left the tent six years ago, they’ve remained close pals and long talked about doing more telly work together.
“Prue’s departure from Bake Off gave her more free time to explore other work she had to keep on the backburner.”
The new show is expected to air on Channel 4 later this year.
