Gawdland of Drag Race Thailand has been crowned the winner of season three of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World.
As well as holding the title Queen of the Muthertucking World, Gawdland – a fan-favourite this season – also takes home a cash prize of £50,000.
The UK’s Kate Butch lost out to Gawdland in the final lipsync battle – to Kylie Minogue’s ‘What Would I Have To Do?’ – after the pair had earlier defeated Fontana from Sweden Mariah Balenciaga of the US respectively in the heats.
“The world is your oyster!” Gawdland squealed after Ru announced the result. “Be crazy!”
“I am Queen of the Muthertucking World,” Gawdland added in the confessional. “The prize is coming home to Thailand. Wow. I cannot wait to rule the world.”
Despite Gawdland’s victory, the UK queens still hold the lead over The World across all seasons by a score of 2 to 1.
