Sir Stephen Fry in The Assembly S02E01 / ITV
Sir Stephen Fry and former Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon are among the participants in the second series of ITV’s acclaimed show The Assembly.
In the show, celebrities are interviewed by an audience made up of autistic, neurodivergent and/or learning disabled people – and no subject is off limits.
As well as Fry and Sturgeon, also taking part in the new run are comedy great Sir Lenny Henry, actress Anna Maxwell Martin, musician Aitch and a sixth celebrity yet to be confirmed.
“The Assembly are raring to go and with such a unique mix of famous faces to interview, they will have a ball coming up with their next set of questions,” said David Smyth, ITV’s entertainment commissioning editor. “These celebrities really do need to be ready for anything.”
The new series airs on ITV1 and ITVX from next month.
