The BBC has released the first trailer for this year’s revamped Strictly Come Dancing and has confirmed that it will launch two weeks today.
The trailer features the three new hosts – Johannes Radebe, Emma Willis and Josh Widdicombe – and features the troupe of professional dancers performing alongside the four returning judges – Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.
The launch show, which is being pre-recorded in London this Wednesday, will see this year’s celebrities discover their professional partners in front of a live audience and in a new innovative method involving “three specially-choreographed group dance routines”.
The launch will air on BBC One at 7.25pm on Saturday, September 19, with the live shows beginning a week later – giving the pairings two-and-a-half weeks’ practice with each other before they take to the dancefloor.
