Ellie Taylor for Fortune Hotel: Late Check Out / ITV
Comedian Ellie Taylor will host a new companion vodcast for the upcoming second series of ITV reality show The Fortune Hotel, it has been announced.
The show – hosted by Stephen Mangan – sees pairs of contestants whisked away to an exotic resort, where they are each presented with a briefcase – one of which contains a huge cash prize.
Over the course of the competition, the pairs must swap cases between each other, bluffing about what their case contains while forming alliances to keep the cash case in view.
The new vodcast, The Fortune Hotel: Late Check Out, promises to offer “behind-the-scenes gossip, exclusive clips, and interviews with the hotel’s freshly checked-out pairs and special guests along the way”.
“I’m so excited to be unpacking all the delicious drama from The Fortune Hotel on ‘Late Check Out’!” said Taylor.
“We’ll be getting all the gossip, dissecting the most jaw-dropping moments, and hearing directly from the contestants reflecting on their unforgettable Fortune Hotel experience.”
Paul Mortimer, ITV’s head of reality, added: “The Fortune Hotel captivated audiences with its unique blend of strategy, suspense, and sunshine in its first outing, and we’re delighted to welcome it back to ITV1 and ITVX for a second, even more dramatic series.
“With Stephen Mangan at the helm of the main show and the wonderful Ellie Taylor guiding fans through the highs and lows on ‘Late Check Out’, viewers are in for a real treat this summer.”
The new series will go out on ITV1 and ITVX this summer.
