How did you react when you found out you would be taking part in this year’s show?
“I never thought that would be me while applying but as time went on I started having a gut feeling this might actually be happening and I just decided to trust my intuition. However nothing really prepares you for the ‘we would love to have you in the tent’… it’s an incredible feeling and I felt so accomplished, especially because I’m new to the baking world.”
As a group, what are this year’s bakers like?
“I cannot explain the amazing chemistry we all had together, I think we were all bonded by the trauma of practicing so many times and we were so eager to just connect and talk to someone who was going through this process as well.”
How was it having Nigella as part of the show?
“It was super exciting, Nigella was an absolute queen.”
Describe your baking style in three words!
“Messy, creative, mindful.”
