Jessie Stride for The Traitors UK S4 / BBC
Age: 28
From: Hull
Occupation: Hair Stylist
Why did you apply to take part in the show?
“I applied to challenge myself, and I love meeting people. I know it will test me, which is good and what I need.”
Do you have a gameplan?
“I have if I’m picked as a Traitor, which I’d prefer, but if I’m not, then I would just be me. I guess you don’t have to do that much as a Faithful, because you don’t have to lie. I would just try and work out how people are, and if people are acting differently and just build lots of bonds and hold back a bit, but not hold back too much. You need a good balance.”
Are you good at spotting a liar?
“Good. There’s just a feeling you get. You can tell that things don’t add up, and I am happy to call out people if it doesn’t add up.”
Are you competitive when you’re playing games with friends and family?
“I tend to be good at holding it in a bit and just keeping watch, but I always know my next moves.”
How would you spend the prize money?
“I’d love to pay off my mum’s house, just because my mum has brought me up and is my bestie, and I would just love to give back to her. If I have a bit left, I would put it into my business.”
The Traitors continues Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8pm on BBC One.
