Spider-Man star Tom Holland is to become the latest A-lister to read for CBeebies Bedtime Stories.
The segment airs on the BBC’s pre-school channel CBeebies just before 7pm and features a special guest each night reading a children’s classic.
Holland, 30, will read Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Superworm, the story of “a heroic, super-stretchy worm” who must rely on his friends to save him after he falls under the spell of the greedy Wizard Lizard.
The actor follows in the footsteps of fellow superhero stars Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Jason Momoa to read for the esteemed strand.
Tom Holland’s CBeebies Bedtime Story airs this Friday at 6.50pm on CBeebies and iPlayer.
