Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story / Netflix
Netflix has released a teaser trailer for Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story ahead of the show’s release next month.
The fourth instalment of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series focuses on the true story of Borden, who was tried – and acquitted – for the horrific axe murders of her father and stepmother in 1892.
Ella Beatty, the daughter of Warren Beatty and Annette Bening, takes on the lead role, while Charlie Hunnam – previously Ed Gein in season three – plays Lizzie’s doomed father Andrew.
All eight episodes will drop on Netflix on Thursday, September 17.
