John Nellis for Strictly Come Dancing 2026 / BBC
Online football content creator John Nellis has been revealed as the 14th celebrity in the lineup for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The 33-year-old is one of YouTube’s biggest sporting creators, with more than 20 million followers across all social media and having amassed billions of views.
Nellis’s most popular videos have also featured some of the biggest footballers on the planet, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
“I’m still in disbelief that I’ve been selected for Strictly and, if I’m honest, I’m a little nervous as I’ve never danced before!” he said.
“It’s such an incredible opportunity, and I’m going to throw myself into every moment. I can’t wait to meet everyone, learn a new skill and, hopefully, be much better at family parties by the end of it!”
