Zara McDermott is reportedly due to appear in an upcoming episode of The Apprentice as an advisor to the candidates.
In an episode airing early next month – most likely episode 10 on April 2 – The Sun says that the remaining candidates will be challenged to design pet products in order to earn a spot in the final five.
The teams will also be required to develop an accompanying social media campaign for retailers to use – and McDermott, who appeared on Love Island and now makes documentaries, will be on hand to dispense tips.
A source told the newspaper: “Zara has amassed thousands of followers on social media, which explains why the producers were keen to have her on board.”
Ten candidates currently remain in the process in this year’s series, which continues next Thursday at 9pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
