Stuart, Callum, Ben and Johnny in EastEnders / BBC
Max Bowden and Ricky Champ are to reprise their role as Ben Mitchell and Stuart Highway for an upcoming EastEnders storyline, it has been confirmed.
The pair will be back on screens for the funeral of Jonno (Richard Graham), dad to Stuart and Callum (Tony Clay) and father-in-law of Ben.
Ben is currently in jail in the US for fraud but will be allowed out on day-release in order to attend Jonno’s send-off.
The character’s return comes after Ben’s husband Callum cheated with Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) amid growing feelings between the pair.
Bowden and Champ are currently filming a handful of episodes, which are due to air later in the autumn.
