How did you react to the news that you would be on the show?
“Never in a million years did I think I would get on The Great British Bake Off! So when I found out that I had actually got on the show I was actually working in my salon and then I had to act normal for the rest of the appointment – I had to hold my scream in!”
What are your strengths and weaknesses as a baker?
“I would say my strengths are my flavours and designs but my weaknesses are rushing and not taking my time over baking my bakes.”
Was it surreal meeting Noel and Alison for the first time?
“Meeting Alison and Noel was a really lovely experience because they where so nice and normal and funny to be around and made me feel at ease.”
How did you feel about your first judging from Paul and Prue?
“I was definitely nervous about being judged for the first time with both, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be, they were very kind with their words.”
The Great British Bake Off begins Tuesday night at 8pm on Channel 4.
