Zelah for Big Brother 2025 / ITV
Zela will face the second eviction from the Big Brother house this Friday after being chosen by the four new housemates to go up for the public vote.
The group woke for their first full day in the BB house to be greeted by a quartet of late arrivals – George, Feyisola, Cameron B and Richard.
The newcomers were given a baptism of fire by Big Brother as they were told that over the next two days they would have to distribute two evil eyes – and each recipient will face eviction this Friday.
Their first choice was made later that day in front of the group, where they picked Zelah and explained their reasons for the decision.
“I think you’re a great guy, Zelah,” said George. “It was just a matter of process of elimination and I’m sure given the chance, I will come to regret that.”
Feyisola said: “It was very hard… we’ve tried to get to know everyone today, and it’s not to say I don’t respect you or want you here, just I personally thought I would put you here today.”
Richard told Zelah: “During the course of the day, I made a point of trying to get round and speak to everybody. I felt I just didn’t get as much time with you as I’d have liked, so I didn’t know as much about you.”
“Again, like the three have said it’s been lovely,” said Cameron. “I don’t have a bad thing to say about anyone, yet decisions have to be made quick and unfortunately it was Z but that’s the game.”
Zelah took the news well, calmly telling the four: “I completely understand. You have to pick someone, so it’s nothing personal guys.”
Later, speaking to BB in the Diary Room, Zelah elaborated on why he thought he had been chosen.
“I kind of suspected it would be me,” he said. “I guess I haven’t massively connected with either of the four today. I really like Feyisola. Maybe I should have made more effort, but it feels false to deliberately make an effort just because of this situation.”
He continued: “I feel like I’m probably one of the less memorable people in the group, so probably contribute a little bit less to the dynamic at the moment.
“On the outside world I’m a very extroverted human being but I guess I’m also an anxious human being, so those things are kind of conflicting, and when you’re in an environment like this maybe my nervousness is holding me back a bit.”
The second housemate facing eviction will be revealed in tonight’s episode of Big Brother at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
