Former BBC Radio DJ Andy Kershaw has died at the age of 66 following a battle with cancer.
The host had been in the radio industry since the ’80s, spending 15 years on Radio 1 as well as Radio 4, while he was also one of the presenters of Live Aid in 1985.
Kershaw was diagnosed with tumours in his spine last August, which rendered him unable to walk.
According to BBC News, his family confirmed that he died at around 7.30pm on Thursday evening.
Kershaw is survived by his two children.
