TNT Sports and 5 have landed the rights to broadcast England’s upcoming tour of Australia.
The two broadcasters are now united under the Skydance brand following the merger of Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Global – and the new cricket rights are the first sports agreement concluded in the UK and Ireland following that merger.
TNT and streaming service HBO Max will broadcast live ball-by-ball coverage of all the matches, while 5 and its accompanying streaming service will offer highlights.
Covered under the deal are three ODIs, starting in a fortnight, followed by five T20 internationals stretching through to early December.
The pair will also show New Zealand’s four-Test tour of Australia throughout December and over the festive period, as well as the New Zealand women’s 3-ODI series in March 2027.
The showpiece element of the deal is the 150th anniversary Test match between Australia in England at the iconic MCG in Melbourne from March 11 to 15.
