Tyrone’s rattled when Carl approaches him in The Rovers and tells him that he can see fear in his eyes and is determined to find out what he’s hiding.

On Daniel’s first day back at work, Lily torments Daniel by reading out Truthteller’s latest posts and then purposefully bumps into him, smashing the mug that Bertie had got for him. Later, in the Precinct, he spots Megan and tears a strip off her for ruining his life.



Todd visits a distressed Summer, who reveals that she’s considering pleading guilty to manslaughter as it seems to be her only option. Later, Todd asks Lisa for his phone back but is floored by her response.


Also on Monday: Idris tells Alya that he would like her to look after all of his legal affairs going forward.

When Jodie makes a throwaway remark, a horrified Daniel realises that she’s his troll – and despite her insistence that Truthteller2 has nothing to do with her, a fuming Daniel chucks her out. Later, Daniel is steaming drunk and falls asleep on the sofa as Bertie attempts to make his own tea. With smoke pouring out of the kitchen, Bertie dashes out of the flat and starts wandering the streets as Daniel lies dead to the world…


Jodie offers David an ear when he has a row with Shona but uses the opportunity to remind David of the time when he got into bed with her – and even said her name. David’s floored by the ‘revelation’.



Also on Tuesday: Lisa tells Carla that her new boss is happy to let Summer go down for Theo’s murder without any further investigations, while Alya persuades Adam to look at Idris’s files so that they can take him on as a client.

Brody is pleased that he’s doing well working for Idris, but when Dylan makes a dig about his previous job stealing cars for Carl, Leanne overhears and confronts Idris about the work he’s been giving Brody, worried that it might be dodgy.


Daniel wakes to a call from the school informing him that Bertie hasn’t shown up and as he takes in his surroundings, he’s horrified to realise that Bertie is nowhere to be seen.
At No.1, Adam and Daniel argue about irresponsible parenting but when Adam brings up Sinead, Daniel sees red and goes to punch Adam – but ends up elbowing Ken in the face instead.



Also on Wednesday: Maria advises David to come clean to Shona about saying Jodie’s name in bed, Todd’s phone is discovered at a pawn shop and Debbie asks Glenda to take over the running of the dementia choir when the time comes.

The Platts gather at the Bistro for Bethany’s birthday party but the atmosphere is ruined when Jodie keeps talking about Theo’s murder.


Sally and Tim watch on in shock as Lisa arrives and arrests Brody on suspicion of theft after his fingerprints were found all over Todd’s phone. Could he now be in the frame for Theo’s murder?

Daniel calls at No.1 with the aim of smoothing things over with Ken, who insists that Tracy and Adam are involved in the discussion too. When Ken suggests that he might be going down the same alcoholic route as Peter, Daniel storms out but when he returns home, he’s horrified to be greeted by social services.


Also on Thursday: Fiz invites Sam round for tea in the hopes that he and Hope can rekindle their friendship, but Hope tells Sam that she doesn’t want to have tea with him and she’s now dating Will – another conversation that Sam has imagined.
