George apologises profusely to Summer for ever having suspected her of murder and vows to make it up to her. Meanwhile as Christina pops the kettle on, her face drops when her phone vibrates and she quickly kills the call. What secret is she keeping?


After waking up Alfie and finding him struggling to breathe, a panicked Abi phones Kevin, who drives them both to A&E. Carl finds out what’s happened and rushes to join them at the hospital, where the consultant tells them that they are going to keep Alfie in the ICU overnight while they run some tests.


Meanwhile, at Abi’s flat, Idris and Brody are shocked to see the extent of the mould on the walls. Idris races to the hospital – what kind of reception will he receive?
Later, Leanne and Alya point out to Idris that whomever he bought the flat from must have known about the damp and should be held to account.
Sally grows concerned by Brody’s shady behaviour with Idris and when he offers her a contribution to the housekeeping, Sally tells Tim that she’s concerned Idris is leading Brody astray.

After some encouragement from Tyrone, Cassie decides the time is right to claim her man and gets down on one knee to propose to Steve…

Daniel and Will agree to bury the hatchet over the Megan saga. Meanwhile Will struggles with thoughts about the potential school gossip about him – so when Hope invites him to join her on a visit to Sam, can he summon the courage to go?

Later, Brody introduces Kit to his new boss in The Rovers – and Idris is taken aback to realise that Brody’s dad is a police officer.

Feeling let down by Steve, Cassie heads to the Chariot Square to drown her sorrows and chats up a bloke at the bar. Unaware that Steve is looking for her, she necks back vodka and makes a pass at the man…


Will tells Ben and Eva that he’s decided to give up on athletics as it’s just a reminder of Megan.

At a family meal at The Bistro, Hope and Ruby reveal that they’ve organised a surprise for Tyrone – they sent off a sample of his DNA to trace his biological dad and he’s meeting them right now. How will Cassie react when Ross enters the room?


Later, Tyrone and Cassie call in at Speed Daal and are shocked to find Steve, Tracy and Ross sharing a table. With little choice but to join them, Cassie’s concerned when Tyrone seems to be softening towards Ross.

Also on Friday: Christina confesses to George how much trouble she’s in, while Kit finds himself frustrated to be taken off Theo’s murder case.
