Corriedale trailer, December 2025 / ITV
The first trailer for Corriedale, the highly-anticipated crossover between Coronation Street and Emmerdale, has been released.
The special episode – uniting the characters of the two ITV soaps on screen for the first time – is airing in early January to kickstart a new “power hour” scheduling pattern.
Vicky Myers, aka Corrie’s Lisa Swain, and Danny Miller – the Dales’ Aaron Dingle – have previously been confirmed for the episode and now three more characters have been revealed in the trailer.
Weatherfield legends Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) and David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) will be joined by Emmerdale’s resident doctor Liam Cavanagh (Johnny McPherson), with more characters to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

The trailer also confirms the central plot of the one-hour episode for the first time – a multi-vehicle pile-up on a dark and stormy road near the village of Hotten, across the Pennines from Manchester
Exactly why some of Corrie’s finest have travelled to Yorkshire, and the cause of the crash, remains to be seen – although the episode promises to bring “fear, murderous intent, death, destruction, closely-guarded secrets and lies”.
