When Cain sees that Kyle has set fire to a shed, he notices Monty trapped inside and springs into action. He manages to rescue Monty and takes him to the vet as Kyle is left to deal with his guilt. Paddy tells the family to prepare for the worst.

As Bear watches on, Caleb tells Kerry to lower her voice as they talk about their counterfeit shoes scheme.


Caleb and Kerry are shocked to find a label sewn into one of the shoes reading “help me”. Kerry encourages Caleb to go to the police with what he’s discovered and later, Bear is furious when he sees the shoe – the memory of Anya still forefront in his mind.
Later, after Caleb tells Kerry that he’s told the police about what they found, he’s intrigued when Kammy tells him about the markup difference between branded and non-branded car parts and suggests to Kerry that there could be money in car parts.

Paddy arrives to tell the Dingles that Monty has got cancer.

Cain collects Monty and goes for a walk with him to ponder what to do next. It dawns on Cain that he is so keen to help Monty but won’t help himself in the same way.


Kev changes his surname to Barton in an attempt to bond with Lewis but the gesture doesn’t get the reception he hoped for.
Later on, Kev explains all about his troubled past and vows never to be back in prison – but when Ross returns and tells Kev to leave, Lewis speaks up and asserts that he wants to give Kev a chance.


Also on Wednesday: A mystery figure breaks into the café and steals the cash box.

When confronted, Kev’s outraged by the accusation and denies all involvement.

Kev tries to plead his case to Lewis but it falls on deaf ears.

Moira makes it clear that she is suspicious of Serena when she starts fishing for information about Nate’s murder.
