Matt Lucas has admitted that he thinks Little Britain "will come back in some form" as rumours swirl over a new series on Netflix.
The last full series of the BBC comedy, which featured Lucas playing characters such as Marjorie Dawes and Bubbles De'Vere, aired in 2008 although Lucas and David Walliams have reunited for several one-off skits since.
The most recent came last year in the form of a radio show themed around Brexit, but reports in recent days have suggested that Netflix are hoping to tempt the duo to film a new full-length series.
Asked about a potential comeback by Zoe Ball on her Radio 2 show, Lucas said: "It might happen. We had a conversation with them a while ago so the seed was planted in our heads.
"We'd love to bring it back in some way at some point. We're both quite busy boys but we're speaking often and one idea was to maybe do a stage show of it again.
"We don't know. It may come back. I think it will come back in some form. We're just still figuring out what that will be."
Little Britain started life as a radio show before making the transition to TV in 2003.
