Eva Marija for Luxembourg at Eurovision 2026
Eva Marija has won a public vote to represent Luxembourg at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
The 20-year-old – raised in Luxembourg by Slovenian parents – beat out seven other competitors in the national selection programme with her song ‘Mother Nature’.
Marija currently resides in London and as well as singing is proficient at the violin, having been inspired to learn after watching Alexander Rybak perform ‘Fairytale’ at Eurovision 2009.
Discussing her song, she said: “We based the song on the feeling of childhood, when you’d be playing carefree within parks and forests.
“‘Mother Nature’ uses nature as a symbol of hope, freedom and a sense of being grounded. It beckons you to reconnect with your inner child and let go of your fears.”
