Ice Cube in War of the Worlds / Amazon Studios
A new War of the Worlds adaptation starring Ice Cube cleaned up at this year’s Razzies, taking home five dishonours.
The parody awards – celebrating the worst of cinema from the previous year – traditionally unveils its winners the day before the Oscars.
Amazon’s War of the Worlds, which holds a dismal 4% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, was named Worst Picture and Ice Cube was named Best Actor.
Rebel Wilson was named Worst Actress for her role in action comedy Bride Hard, while there was a double win for All Seven Artificial Dwarfs in the new Snow White movie.
