Eva Marie Saint, one of the last actresses from the Golden Age of Hollywood, has died at the age of 102.
During her career, which began in the 1940s, Saint won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her film debut in On The Waterfront in 1954.
She was also one of the last surviving member of “Alfred Hitchcock’s girls”, having starred in the acclaimed 1959 spy thriller North by Northwest.
According to family spokesperson Jeff Sanderson, Saint died of natural causes at her Los Angeles home on Tuesday.
The actress is survived by two children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
