Elphaba in Wicked For Good / Universal
Wicked For Good delivered another stellar performance at the UK and Ireland Box Office over the weekend, seeing off animated sequel Zootropolis 2 to maintain the top spot.
The concluding half of the musical added another £7.71m for a two-week total of £32.1m, while worldwide it has grossed $393m (£298m) to date.
Zootroplis 2 – also known as Zootopia 2 – put in a strong debut with £5.98m but was only good enough for second place on the chart.
Meanwhile, it was a disappointing opening for Alexander Skarsgard’s explicit BDSM comedy-drama Pillion, which debuted at five with receipts of £348k.
