Boyzone press shot
Boyzone have confirmed that they will reunite as a four-piece for a one-off “farewell” gig next summer.
The boyband were one of the biggest music acts of the 1990s, racking up 17 consecutive Top 10 hits including six number ones.
The group – Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham – last performed live together in 2019 but have now agreed to play one last gig following the success of a Sky series documenting the band’s career.
The concert will take place at Arsenal’s 44,000-capacity Emirates Stadium on Saturday, June 6, which will be Boyzone’s biggest show of their career.
The show will also feature a tribute to band member Stephen Gately, who died suddenly of an undiagnosed heart defect in 2009 at the age of 33.
In a statement, the group said: “We’ve been truly blown away and humbled by the response to the documentary this year.
“The love we’ve felt from fans all over the world has inspired us to create the ultimate experience together, headlining our own stadium show. The four of us can’t wait to stand together again and enjoy One For The Road.”
Tickets for Boyzone: One For The Road go on general sale at 9am on Friday, October 10, with a registered fan pre-sale opening at 9am on Tuesday, October 7.
