Lil Nas X was reportedly arrested for “battery” following his bizarre escapades in Los Angeles in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Yesterday video emerged showing the 26-year-old rapper – known for hits including ‘Old Town Road’ – walking erratically down the middle of a road in a pair of Y-fronts and cowboy boots, posing for confused onlookers as if he was on a catwalk.
Police were called to the scene at around 6am PT (2pm UK), after which he was hospitalised for a “possible overdose” before being arrested for allegedly attacking a police officer.
According to NBC News and TMZ, when officers first confronted the star he stripped fully naked before charging at them and “punched an officer twice in the face during the encounter”.
Lil Nas X’s representatives have yet to comment on the incident almost a day later and his current whereabouts are unknown.
