Taylor Swift has confirmed her engagement to boyfriend Travis Kelce after two years of dating.
The couple announced the news on Instagram with pictures of Kelce – an NFL player for the Kansas City Chiefs – down on one knee in a rose garden.
The post was captioned: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Swift’s large engagement ring was also pictured as part of the announcement – an antique diamond estimated to be seven to 10 carats.
The pair’s engagement is the latest chapter in a whirlwind romance that has seen them dubbed a “supercouple” by the media, drawing significant interest from the press and fans alike.
Earlier this month Swift announced plans to release her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, in October.
