The Big Brother house was reportedly placed into a form of lockdown on Monday night after a security breach involving tennis balls.
According to The Sun, BB ordered housemates into the main house immediately after fans started throwing tennis balls over the security fences into the garden.
While appearing benign, the balls could have contained dangerous substances, contraband products or messages from the outside world, so producers took precaution while a security sweep was completed.
“The housemates were rushed into the house as tennis balls began flying over the compound walls and into the garden,” a source told the newspaper.
“Producers leapt into action and ordered them into the house and locked the doors.
“The housemates are on lock down as the teams secure the site. It’s a huge breach.”
Big Brother continues Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
