The Celebrity Traitors finalist Sebastian Croft has launched his own talk podcast series, The Sunday Scaries with Bash Croft.
The show promises to take “the edge off the dread” of the end of the weekend as Bash and guests aim to banish the Sunday blues.
A synopsis reads: “Sundays are terrifying. The weekend’s nearly over. Your screen time is humiliating. Fortunately, Bash Croft and his friends are on hand to wrap up the week and make your Sunday suck that little bit less by sharing their anxieties and exorcising their woes.”
Regular features include Flop of the Week and Slay of the Week, while the gang will also switch on the answerphone to advise on listeners’ dilemmas.
“My Sundays are usually spent with friends, playing games, chatting about our weeks, what’s going on in the world and what we’re loving or hating at the moment, and also with a healthy pinch of existential dread of the week to come, so it felt like the perfect fit to bring to life,” said Croft, 24.
“So many people I know find Sundays daunting or lonely, and just want to have a laugh and chat about the week before and the week ahead. So I want the podcast to feel like you’re sitting on the sofa with us, having completely honest, unfiltered chats with friends. Different guests every week, highs and lows, laughs and moans! Hopefully, it’ll make everyone’s Sunday feel a little brighter and the week ahead a little less daunting.”
The podcast – from production company Persephonica – launches this Sunday (November 1) across all major platforms.
