Danny Dyer and Emily Atack have been named hosts of a new innovative format combining reality TV with a quiz show.
Called Nobody’s Fool, the show will feature 10 contestants moving into a mischievous “Smart House”, where they will take part in regular group challenges and individual quizzes to build a prize pot.
Only each contestant will know how well they are doing in contributing to the pot, however – and they must convince the others of their intelligence in order to remain in the competition and avoid being voted out as the weakest player.
The programme will serve as an on-screen reunion for Dyer and Atack, who star together in the raunchy Disney+ series Rivals.
“This is a blinder of a gameshow and unlike anything I’ve seen before,” said Dyer. “Emily and I had a brilliant time making it and much like the audience at home will be, we were kept guessing right until the very end.”
Atack added: “It’s so exciting to be part of something this new and fresh. The chance to work with Danny again was a no-brainer for me. We had such a laugh. Can’t wait for everyone to watch, it’s an absolute must see.”
Nobody’s Fool is due to air on ITV early next year.
