Daredevil: Born Again / Disney+
Marvel has decided that the upcoming third season of Daredevil: Born Again will be the show’s last.
The Disney+ series – focusing on Charlie Cox’s titular character – is a revival of the Daredevil show, which ran for three seasons on Netflix between 2015 and 2018.
During its second life, Born Again has been beset with behind-the-scenes problems, with exec producers Matt Corman and Chris Ord being fired partway through production of the first season, which went on to be split in two.
Season three has now been filmed and is in post-production, but Disney have now also let go showrunner Dario Scardapane before that process has been completed.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the streamer has also decided against bringing back the show for a fourth season.
Consisting of eight episodes, season three of Daredevil: Born Again is due to premiere on Disney+ in March 2027.
