Graham Norton on The Graham Norton Show on October 25, 2024 / BBC
After more than six months off the air, The Graham Norton Show returns for a brand new series on BBC One next Friday.
The lineup for the first episode of the new series features a trio of Hollywood actors – Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt and Matthew McConaughey – as well as Happy Valley favourite James Norton.
Johnson and Blunt will be discussing their new film The Smashing Machine, a biography of the MMA fighter Mark Kerr, while McConaughey will preview The Lost Bus, an Apple TV+ movie about a bus driver trying to negotiate a teacher and schoolkids through the 2018 Californian wildfire.
Norton, meanwhile, will talk about House of Guinness, the big new Netflix drama about the founding of the Guinness empire written by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.
Seven-time Brit Award winner RAYE will be the night’s music guest.
The following Friday, October 3 will see global megastar Taylor Swift take a seat on the sofa on the day of release of her much-anticipated new studio album The Life of a Showgirl.
Cillian Murphy will talk about new Netflix drama Steve and his role in the upcoming sequel 28 Days Later: The Bone Temple, while Greta Lee and Jodie Turner-Smith will be promoting the third instalment in the Tron series, Tron: Ares.
Also appearing is Domnhall Gleeson, star of The Office spinoff The Paper, with music coming from Lewis Capaldi.
